Role: SCM Manager
Location: Ahmedabad (Initially Saraspur and in 6 – 9 months Ashram Road)
Education: Inter CA/ CMA/ Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance
Experience: Min. 4 years of experience in cost accounting
Remuneration: Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, optimizing and ensuring stock levels across multiple warehouses across India.
- Designing strategies that accurately forecast demand, set appropriate reorder points, and establish efficient restocking processes.
- Leveraging data analytics to identify trends and fluctuations in demand, allowing to adjust stock levels dynamically to minimize both stockouts and excess inventory, reducing holding costs and freeing up capital.
- Aid in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for our trading division, including analyzing inventory and associated costs.
- Collaborating with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to streamline, prepare and implement the inventory accounting processes.
- Maintaining compliance with financial reporting standards and providing transparency to stakeholders.
- Implement inventory tracking and reconciliation systems to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions, including purchases, consumption, and returns.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly inventory reports, providing insights into stock levels, costs, and variances.
- Aid and ensure proper inventory accounting in implementation of ERP.
Required Candidate Profile:
- Proficiency in GST, E-way bill, POD etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of inventory valuation methods and accounting principles
